Description

Creating an Actionable Data Strategy to Improve Employee Health

You won’t want to miss this two-part series on how to leverage available data (within your organization) to support a Health Related Data Strategy for employee health programs in 2016 and beyond. These two sessions build open each other and will help you anchor your health strategies in a data-driven approach and help you better understand the health risks of your population.

We start with an educational webinar meeting that provides a detailed overview of what you need to know to establish a health-related data strategy. This is followed by an interactive employer-only Round Table meeting that will teach you how to access and map your existing data and use it to drive decision-making for employee health initiatives to help optimize your health care investments and best practices.

Part I : Webinar August 3, 2016, 12-1:00 PM

Identify available data for Value-Based Benefit Decisions and employee Health and Wellness Promotion programs.

This session will review:

  • The importance of establishing a health-related data strategy.
  • Data commonly available to employers.
  • Common data limitations.
  • A short homework assignment needed for Part II Meeting.

Part II: Round Table August 17, 2016, 9-10:30 AM

Location: Pfizer Inc, 235 E 42nd Street, NYC, Conference Room 31 on Mezzanine Level (Please allow time for check in at Security Desk)

This is an interactive in person “hands-on” session that requires attendance to Part I and fulfillment of the Homework assignment.

This session will review:

  • Learning to map data sources and flow of information within an organization and consider vendor engagement in your health management strategy and team.
  • Defining the value of programming. Transform facts into action - identify how to use data to inform benefit design decisions.
  • Identifying how to use data to evaluate impact of interventions and how to initiate an evaluation of return-on-investment (ROI).
  • Next steps: making your learnings from these sessions actionable.
